My Thoughts My Ideas My Autobiography 04 July 2023

Today hasn't been a very good day for me. I've been standing on the road for an hour, asking for a lift to Pachpadra, but no one is offering me a lift. It's probably Sunday, so I can't find a vehicle. I called my brother-in-law to drop me off at Pachpadra. He came to drop me off. The bus was still ten minutes away, and I arrived on time. Reaching the refinery, I took charge and sat back down. Today, my research topic was systemic change. But before I could do any of that research, I began to see the problems of Assam. The main problems were poverty, hunger, unemployment, and a growing population. These caught my attention. Now I began to understand that every problem is linked to another problem, and together they give rise to a third new problem. That is, the root of all problems is the same, and I want to find this root. So I started writing on my paper. First, I wrote that the biggest problem today is illiteracy.  Because if a person isn't educated, how will they know about the system and what's right and wrong for them? Secondly, if a person is uneducated, their thinking will be weak. They won't know what's going on within the country. And when they vote, they should vote for the person who can develop them and their entire region. But to understand this, a person must be educated. India's biggest weakness is illiteracy. Because until every person in India becomes educated and a responsible citizen, India can't develop. And all of India's problems can't be solved. Therefore, everyone must be educated. The problem was before me, but I had no solution. The solution lay in finding how to solve it myself. The first problem was illiteracy. The second problem was unemployment. Until now, I could only see two problems. Time passed, and I was ready to further my research. As I drew attention to these problems, I realized that perhaps poverty is an even greater problem than both.  Poverty forces people not to send their children to school, but instead sends them to work so they can earn some money. I was able to afford two meals a day. Then I looked up some statistics to understand the level of poverty in India. It was shocking. The most surprising thing was that the level of poverty in India is increasing every year. Even though the government is spending crores of rupees on educating and providing employment, the level of poverty is still increasing. This seemed very strange. I considered taking my research further, but I started getting a headache. I turned off my mobile and started wandering around, wondering whether a person is born rich or poor. shifted my focus from my own problems to India's problems. One problem after another kept coming to me. I started with unemployment. When I researched unemployment, I found that the biggest cause of unemployment is overpopulation. Where there is a large population, unemployment is natural.  I also tried to find out why the population is so high and I found out that the biggest reason for population growth is illiteracy because people do not know whether their children can fulfill their economic and social needs or not. Once I asked a poor man, who was living permanently with his family near a dirty drain. He had five children. When I asked him, "Your condition is such that you do not even get two meals a day, then why did you have to give birth to so many children? You should have at least thought about their future and then given birth to them." I was surprised to hear that man's answer.  He said, "Sir, I didn't want children either, but what could I do? We had children just for fun. I couldn't stay away from my wife, and the children kept coming. We even tried to abort them once or twice, but it didn't work. Maybe this is God's will. God gave birth to them, so God will raise them and provide them with two meals a day." Hearing this, I was shocked to see how many wrong things people do in God's name. You have sex with your wife and blame God and say God will take care of them. Did God tell you to have sex with your wife and have children? Did God tell you to get married?  Have more children, then that person replied no, then why are you defaming God, what is your age, he said I am 45 years old, then I asked him that at this age have you ever seen God or heard God's voice, then that person said no, then how can you trust God, when you have not seen him, you have not felt him, then how can you trust him, then that person said sir the whole world has been created by God.So only God can feed these children. With that, he went inside. I stood outside thinking for a long time. I didn't feel like dwelling on his foolishness. I remembered that people have less faith in God and more faith in superstition. This is the biggest problem today. Uneducated people don't know what they're doing. Just for their own pleasure, they give birth to five children, plunging their own future into darkness. How will they make their children's future bright? But people don't understand this. Educated people don't have more than two children because they know what their future will be if they have more children. Moreover, education is very expensive in a country like India. Inflation has been rising steadily over the past few years, and employment opportunities are constantly decreasing. In such a situation, raising a family is becoming increasingly difficult. But those who are poor simply don't understand this. One thing I haven't understood is that humans know nothing but self-interest. Every person is selfish and works only for their own benefit.  I still haven't understood why he's selfish. Maybe I'm selfish too, that's why I couldn't understand. Anyway, I got up from my chair and started walking around the storeroom, thinking it was time for the supervisor to arrive. After a while, I sat back down and started thinking. The problem I was facing was poverty. Poverty isn't just in India; most people around the world, over 65% of the world's population, live in poverty. In my opinion, poverty means someone who doesn't have money, who can't get two meals a day, who doesn't have work. That's the poor. I thought about ways to alleviate this poverty. I went to a government website and found some information that wasn't false. The information was overwhelming, so it took me a while to understand it. I spent the entire day gathering this information. It was 8:00 pm. Another security guard had taken my place, and I headed for my bus. I boarded the bus and arrived in Pachpadra.  From there, I took a lift to Balotra. I went home, ate, and went to sleep. But I still couldn't sleep. My desire to learn more about the poor was growing. I looked at government statistics and found that poverty in India today is many times higher than it was at the time of independence. It should have been the other way around, but it wasn't. People are becoming poorer every day. Employment opportunities are dwindling, and incomes are falling. I had to find out why. Then another thought occurred to me: poverty exists in most countries of the world. Only a few countries are poverty-free, like the US and some European countries, where poverty is very low. However, Africa is considered the poorest continent. I tried to search for something on my mobile phone, but the internet wasn't working. Now I had no choice but to think until I fell asleep. So I thought about how to eliminate poverty. I still believed that poverty could be eliminated by providing employment.  But how can I provide employment when I don't have any myself? But I am satisfied that one day I will definitely provide employment for everyone. Well, that's it. Now my attention has come to how difficult life becomes when a person is poor. When a person cannot afford two meals a day, why should he live? He should commit suicide, because death is inevitable one day. What is the point of living even after enduring so much hardship, because when a poor person is alive, he also lives in poverty and his family also lives in poverty with him.  It's a good idea for the government to make a rule that anyone who doesn't have a proper job to support their household can't marry or have children. At least the child born into the family can receive a proper education and earn a living, free from poverty. But to date, no government has made such a rule. Then another thought came to my mind: why not make a rule that sets the income limit for every individual. Anyone who doesn't have that much income can't marry. Once they reach that level, they can marry, but they can't have children until their income increases by 20%. Even if they do have children, they should be imprisoned because they have to decide the future of the child and their parents. When the parents' future is in darkness, how can the child's future be bright? If this rule were implemented in India, many of India's major problems could be solved.I thought of writing a letter to the President and telling him about this, but then I thought who will listen to me and why will they listen, in a country like India there is so much corruption that no one listens to anyone, only money works here, money listens to everyone and money gets everyone's work done, there is no place for people like me in this country, thinking all this I fell asleep.
